Getting Around in the Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law Site

The Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law site provides access to the content included in the Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law print publication. Searching Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law

You can search for content included in the Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law book using either the Terms and Connectors or Natural Language search method. Natural Language allows you to retrieve relevant documents by typing a description in plain English.

Click Search to go to the Search page. Enter your search terms, select either Terms and Connectors or Natural Language and click Search to run your search.

Browsing Documents

Citations List
When you are viewing a search result, the citations list is shown first. Click the number preceding a citation to view that document's full text.

To see the next 20 documents that match your query, click the right arrow at the top or bottom of the citations list.

Browsing by Search Terms
In a search result, you can click the right or left Term arrow to move to the next or previous occurrence of your search terms in the displayed document.

Browsing by Document
When viewing a full text document, you can click the right or left Document arrow to move to the next or previous document in your search result.

Currentness Information
A current-through line tells you how current the document is. For Kentucky Statutes and United State Code, the current-through line will appear at the end of the document. For all other documents, the current-through line will appear below the title of a document.

Some documents will also include a reference to Scope, which is a Westlaw feature that provides information about coverage. Scope is not available on this site; the current through line provides the coverage information.

Cited Documents
Links are available for some cited documents that are outside the scope of the Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law service. You can retrieve these cited documents via Westlaw by credit card. When you click the link for a cited document, you will be redirected to the Westlaw by credit card site. From there, you may use a Westlaw or Westlaw by credit card subscription to retrieve the document. Click your browser's Back button to return to the Kentucky Real Estate Professionals and the Law site.

You are not charged for viewing any of the content included at this site.

You will be charged for all documents not retrieved via this site.


Retrieving Documents with Westlaw by Credit Card

Enabling Cookies

  5. Scroll down to the Cookies section of the list, then select Enable under Allow cookies that are stored on your computer.
  6. Click OK in the Security Settings dialog box.
  7. Click Yes in the message box to confirm that you want cookies enabled.
  8. Click OK in the Internet Options dialog box.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0
  1. Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Click the Privacy tab.
  3. Slide the vertical scroll bar to Medium or lower.
  4. Click OK in the Internet Options dialog box.
Netscape Navigator 4.7x
  1. Choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Double-click Advanced.
  3. In the Cookies box, select Accept all cookies.
  4. Click OK.
Netscape Navigator 6.0
  1. Choose Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Double-click Privacy & Security.
  3. Click on Cookies.
  4. Select Enable all cookies.
  5. Click OK.
